City of Coralville trash customers will get their trash carts emptied one extra time for free this spring. Place trash or smaller items in the cart on the designated day, and set your cart at the curb. Only one additional tagged bag, placed on top of the closed lid of the can, will be picked up. Tagged bags placed on the ground will not be picked up and require a special appointment. This extra collection is to empty trash carts only and is in addition to the regular collection for that week. The free extra collection will occur on Friday, September 23, 2022, for homes with regular trash collection on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. And Monday, September 26, 2022, for homes with regular trash collection on Thursday.
