The League of Women Voters of Johnson County hosted a Candidate Forum for State House District 89 and Senate District 45. All candidates were invited to attend. Two candidates have filed for a two-year term for House District 89. Jacob Onken (R) and Elinor Levin (D) are seeking their first term. Two candidates have filed for a four-year term for Senate District 45. Harold R. Weilbrenner (R) and Janice Weiner (D) are seeking their first term. The Iowa election takes place on November 8, 2022.
