There were a lot of old holiday traditions and new ones at this year's Aisle of Lights in Coralville on Sunday, December 11, 2022. The Coralville Community Food Pantry served a free community meal on Friday night at the Coralville Recreation Center. On Sunday, luminarias lined the streets, sidewalks and trails of Coralville to provide a warm festive glow to the city. Bop's Choo Choo train chugged around city hall while children told Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Local talent provided music, entertainment and delicious treats. Giant light-up letters for Coralville 150 were on display for photo opportunities along with cultural displays outside of city hall. These were just some of the fun activities at the annual Aisle of Lights in Coralville.
