If you have old, unused, or broken strings of holiday lights to get rid of, don’t send them to the landfill—recycle them! From November 20, 2023, through January 7, 2024, drop off strings of holiday lights in collection bins around Coralville and Iowa City. Do not place holiday lights in your curbside recycling bin.
